SADLY WHERE THERE ARE PEOPLE, THERE WILL BE BULLYING.
HURT PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE. SO WHAT WE CAN WE ALL DO TO HELP THOSE IMPACTED BY BULLYING RECOVER, REBUILD THEIR CONFIDENCE AND BE HAPPY ONCE AGAIN?
Imagine knowing what to say or do to help yourself or someone else who’s been bullied. Knowing the things you could do which can help to rebuild confidence, self-esteem, self-belief, happiness and hope for the future. Imagine being able to undo the damage done by bullying.
That is our life-changing Beyond the Bullying programmes.
The likelihood is if you’re here, you or someone you know has been bullied.
I know how it feels to be bullied, I’ve experienced bullying at school, at work, online and as a parent. Whether it’s happening to you or someone you care about the impact and ripples are significant and long lasting.
Being bullied changes someone and their view of the world and how they fit into it. It damages your confidence and self-esteem, makes you feel less optimistic and hopeful, it can make you withdrawn, feel anxious, depressed or have depressive thoughts. Sadly being bullied can also lead to people self harming, having suicidal thoughts or attempting suicide along with developing eating disorders and facing other significant mental health challenges.
But there are things we can all do which can lessen the ongoing impact of bullying on our lives.
All the majority of us want for ourselves and those we love is to feel happy and to be working towards our goals or dreams.
However, when we’ve been bullied, our ability to feel optimistic and hopeful, to feel happy confident about who we are, what we’re capable of and not see our insecurities, fears and have feelings of unworthiness is challenging.
If you’ve experienced bullying, or witnessed bulling, sadly you’re not alone. Currently around 25% of children are bullied at school each year, around 29% experience bullying at work and 50% witness the bullying which is happening.
Bullying affects millions of children and adults every year. Those impacts don’t simply stop the moment the bullying does, the shadows the bullying leaves stretch out far into the future.
But there is something you can do and that is where I can help you through our signature Beyond the Bullying programmes.
